Open up the viz in full screen on your desktop. Then shrink down the width of your browser window and watch the viz getting rendered everytime you're not changing the browser width for more than 0,5 seconds. Once the page has less than 900 pixels available the JavaScript code will request the mobile layout of the very same viz. I advise customers to design dashboards so that it fits on desktops and tablets without creating an additional layout. If this doesn't fit, reduce the amount of content for the particular dashboard and create a second one if necessary.
